Do you agree that Multi Level Marketing business is a "Down-To-Earth" business, it is a scalable business, it is a life changing opportunity and it is fulfilling?
Why I said it is a "down-to-earth" business? It is simply means real and simple. Simple because we just share what we know experienced and believe sincerely in, with our friends and contacts. We do not need to exaggerate. We share earnestly and follow up where it is appropriate. And when we have people in our network, our responsibility is to guide and develop by teaching them what we know and share our experience. With the power of Internet nothing is impossible nowadays and believe me networking with the power of Internet is so much fun. Like many networker and marketer out there are saying "online MLM is a new dimension to the MLM industry" and to me "online MLM is a breakthrough for a true working from home concept, in front of your PC".
There is no hype and jazz involved. It is purely doing what I have mentioned above, day in and day out. There is no need for me to think of creative ways to attract customers, no fancy advertisements and no killer strategies on how to get ahead of my competitors. To some, it is deemed boring because we do the same things but meeting different people daily from all over the world with the power of Internet that makes this business very interesting.
Why I said it is scalable business? This could be a small business but it can also be a big business. It is all in the approach we adopt and also the effort we put in. The beauty thing is that it is scalable. We can start small and then build it big, if we want to. Great success comes from doing the little things right, and in this business; it comes from doing the little things right - again and again. It is one of the fairest business in the world where offers everyone an equal opportunity to excel in life, with the same minimal capital outlay. The difference between the big and the small players is the desire they possess and the effort they put in.
Why I said it is A Life Changing Opportunity? On the surface, we know or heard that this business is all about distributing products. However at a deeper level, it is about organizing and leading a united a group of independent distributor (called a network) towards achieving a common dream, a dream to improve their lives for the better and to be better.
This group of people could come from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, religions, races, qualifications, ages, nationalities, etc. Therefore, it we dive deeper into the understanding of this industry, you will find that it is a challenging business and has all the trimmings of running a very big organization, except that the distributors are not your salaried staff. If you are on a conventional business, you need to think about paying your staffs salary every month but in this business we do not have to think about this.
A true Multi-Level Marketer will tell you that this business is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme. If you come across MLM companies or distributors promising quick bucks, stay clear of them. The reason being, in order to be successful in this business and to reap its full benefits, first and foremost, a strong and stable network must be built. The key world is "BUILD". Building definitely takes time, and it cannot happen overnight. It is a life-changing opportunity because for one to succeed in this business, it requires one to unlearn and relearn and more importantly it requires one to continuously build the most important person in the whole network, that is, the individual himself or herself.
This business is all about people and leadership. Thus, as one continues to progress and conduct it in the right way, one cannot help but continue to grow to be a better person.
Lastly why I said it is a fulfilling business? To succeed in this business is to lead and not to push. There is a difference between leading and pushing. In a conventional business or employment, subordinates do what a boss asks of them because the boss has a big say in their promotions and increments. Most of the time, they respect their boss because of his position. Subordinates could not promote themselves directly; the boss will give his recommendations and the big boss will decide. In the MLM business, nobody can recommend or actively promote you.
You promote yourself, through your performance. To have a sustained performance is not through pushing. Because over time, we can get very tired of 'pushing' people. However, if we learn to lead well, we will discover that over time, there will be people willing to follow us. This is where the synergy is. Putting the financial returns of the business aside, this industry is very rewarding and fulfilling. The reason being, once you are able to have a group with you, and you are the leader, you are actually making a positive impact on the lives of others. They join and follow you, because they believe you can lead them to somewhere better.
You become their role model or mentor. You are in a position to contribute. Ask any truly successful MLM leader and he or she will tell you that the greatest fulfillment he or she gets from this business is seeing his downlines grow and becoming successful. It is a true "people helping people" concept. This business is about helping people and helping ourselves.
