It is your business, not anyone else's. Do what you think is right, and listen to those that have had success. However, don't just jump to their methods...they may not work for you. For example, an individual that has done network marketing before has many leads and many transfer their downline to their new mlm. This is their "Warm Market". Your warm market may be your family, friends, and co-workers. This warm market approach might not work for you.

I did not realize this at the time, but I spent more time explaining to my warm market that network marketing is not a Pyramid Scheme instead of spending time explaining the benefits. But your experience might be different. Only you can decide.

You must always maintain control over your MLM business and do the necessary things to realize your success. Keep an open mind to what others tell you, but follow your heart, mind, and passion, and you will find success.

What do you do if your uplines tell you the only way to grow your business is by buying leads. Is this right for you? Will it work for you?

Leads from lead companies are very generic in nature. Generic Leads are not your target market. These are typically people who are mostly curious about a home business. This makes buying them not very effective. These leads come from individuals answering such ads as "Do You Want To Make $10,000 Per Month More?" Does this sound like a targeted lead for your MLM business?

You have no control how these leads are generated and where they come from. Also when you buy generic leads, you never make return on investment. You just keep spending money and make none back. You may spend yourself right out of your business.

Always look to improve your telephone communication skills. Practice with someone. I know this sounds corny, but it works. Hone in on your best attitude and show enthusiasm.

Don't sell, don't convince. Just introduce your mlm company, give information to prospects, ask questions, listen, and listen again. if you try to convince, and that prospect signs up, you will generally have to convince that person every step of the way.

Remember, you only, repeat only want those that will duplicate your efforts.
