I have always been a very trusting person, expecting that most people are basically honest. I have gone about my daily life doing unto others as I would expect them to do unto me. That was working out just fine, until I started using the Internet!.

I had never really been involved in having web sites, trying to make a living using all the tools that the internet can provide.I was very naive when I first started out, only about 3 months ago,I thought that what I read was actually true, that all these nice people were desperatly trying to help me to increase my business.What a fool I was ! It has taken me all of this time to realize, that if I could find one honest person in my meanderings through the internet, I would be very fortunate.

I seem to be bombarded with advice from many directions, as to how I can increase the traffic to my website , maybe I need leads, (of course they are genuine) or perhaps I need advertising, maybe ad blasting ( sounds like a construction site) or the ultimate "one on one" guru, who has all the answers.

I have now become very cynical, my once trusting nature has disappeared, I am now suspicious of every deal that I am offered, every "free" article that leads to the inevitable upgrade, the sites that offer "free" advice if you are ready to buy their EBook ,which of course has gone the rounds already, where does it all end?

I know that the internet is a wonderful place for finding many good things, information for example, meeting people with similar tastes to your own, helping those who are lonely or house bound to feel that they are still a part of life, but the jackals that are`out there seem to far out way the innocent.

Yes, you come to realize how many evil people there are in the world, and they seem to use the internet as their communication to spread their underhanded ways.

Oh well, that 's life in the fast lane I guess, but I would still rather ride my bicycle,and take comfort in being the Tortoise and not the Hare.
