A law is something that you don’t have to know to follow. For example, the law of gravity.

A law applies, whether you know it or not. Pretend that we live down the street from each other. You borrow a book from me. You call me a few days later and say, “Hey, I finished that book I borrowed. Are you gonna be home tomorrow? I want to return it.”

“No,” I say to you. “Just leave it in the mailbox.”

If you do that, whether you know it or not, you’ve just committed a federal offense. Even if it’s my book, my mailbox, and I tell you to do it, the law says nothing can go in the mailbox--- except mail.

See, the law applies, legally or naturally, whether you know it or not. And boy, would you be ticked at me for getting you in trouble with the law!

But that’s what happens in MLM all the time. People tell you to do things that violate the laws of MLM success, and most of the time, the law blows the violation up in your face.

Here are some things that VIOLATE the laws of MLM success. If your “sponsor” wants you to do ANY of these things, RUN!!!

*** Go on the web on free sources like MySpace and post links to your company’s website or products.

*** Make a list of 200 people who might be interested in your business.

*** Leave business cards in bathrooms and on tables at restaurants.

*** Put flyers on parked cars and on utility poles. (It’s called littering.)

*** Dial up your “sizzle call” on your cell phone, and shove it into an innocent bystander’s ear.

*** Stick a magnetic sign on your car door, so your car can be a “rolling billboard” for your company.

*** Just get them to a “meeting”, because they’ll be hypnotized by the hype.

*** Manipulate anybody any way you can.

You will NOT “just get 5 people” who get five, who get five, etc., because of the lack of people for the suckers on the bottom to recruit. Simple law of arithmetic.

The good news is that if you build a business on the 5 PILLARS, your business will succeed. Every time. Has to. The Pillars are based on natural laws that work for anyone who applies them. Here are the Pillars:

1. Company management experience with integrity.

2. PERFECT timing (in the industry AND in the company).

3. Products people want and will pay for.

4. Fair, legal, and ETHICAL compensation plan.

5. Complete, organized training and support.

A COMPLETE MORON in a company with those Pillars can make MILLIONS and not even realize how he did it, because the laws of success are on his side. Take away any of the Pillars, and your success will be watered down by that much… no matter what you do.
