So we must realize that selling is very important in MLM, no matter how much companies try to play it down the selling aspect of the business it is paramount to success. The reason they play down selling is because most people don't like to sell and they fear it will keep people from joining.

Selling doesn't have to be a bad experience. in fact it can be very rewarding when people are using your products and re-ordering each month. Instead of purchasing products from the grocery store or drug store, purchase them from yourself. This shows others that you have a belief in your products, because when they come over to your house they see your products instead of store brands. You might also want to think about giving some of your products as birthday presents etc. It is a great way to get people to try your products, and if they are good products they will certainly re-order from you, and transfer their buying from the retail stores to you.

Once you have people buying the products from you, then you can show them how to get the products at wholesale prices. Show them how to become a distributor, they have already seen the value in the products or services you are offering. They have also witnessed the transfer buying technique from watching you operate. If you make it look easy, then it becomes a more desirable program. People will feel that they can do this, this is not the hard sell, they are used to, this is the fun way to build a business.
