Life is a series of peaks and valleys. Sometimes everything is going great. At other times, success seems to be just out of our reach. This process is the same for everyone. However, you need to be aware when you are in the valley so that you can make changes or learn something new so that you can start climbing towards the next peak as soon as possible. Here are some important things to remember.
- You can’t climb a smooth mountain – Realize that when you are in the valleys that it is actually a blessing in disguise. If we don’t have those down times then we cannot learn what we need in order to reach the peaks. So when your network marketing business is not working as fast as it should, think to yourself, “What am I suppose to be learning from this?”
- Don’t be jealous of those on the peak – Instead, use them as resources. Ask them how they got out of the valleys. Remember, it is all the same process. Chances are they had the exact same challenges that you had.
- Don’t give up – Perhaps the most important thing for you to do is not give up. So many people hit the valley and assume that they will never climb back up. Not true! In fact, the PURPOSE of being in the valley is so that you WILL climb back up.
So remember, just as there are cycles to the seasons, to the stock market, and to your washing machine, there are cycles to your network marketing business. Just don’t give up, learn what you need to learn, make the necessary changes, and reach the peak!
